Towpath trail bike hire started in 1990 from our base at the lock inn café on the Kennet and Avon canal, route 4 of the national cycle network.

Running one of the largest hire fleets in the south west has taught us a thing or two about what works and what doesn’t, what’ fun and what isn’t. At our shop you won’t find any know-it-all smarty-pants salesman, or be made to look daft if you don’t know your LX from your XT but if you are a hardcore rider you wont be disappointed either, and what’s more we guarantee we will make it fun. Not all shops and cafés are the same
